Our Achievements & Objectives

Satpudanchal’s Efforts in Promoting Value-Added Millet Products

Satpudanchal Farmer Producer Company Limited (SFPCL) has been at the forefront of promoting value-added millet products under its sister concern, Agrinee Natural Producer Company Limited, through its brand “Milletable”. Agrinee has actively participated in various national and international food exhibitions, providing a platform to showcase our diverse millet-based product range and explore new market opportunities.

Our journey of participation includes prestigious events such as:

  • Africa Big & Johannesburg (18–19 June 2023)
  • Fine Food Sydney (11–14 September 2023)
  • World Food India, Delhi (3–5 November 2023)
  • Indus Food, Noida (8–10 January 2024)
  • CMPL (Contract Manufacturing and Private Labeling), Mumbai (2024)
  • Gulf Food, Dubai and SIAL Canada
  • World Food India (19–22 September 2024)

These exhibitions have provided us with opportunities to present our millet-based value-added products and conduct in-depth market research. We gained valuable insights into global market trends, consumer preferences, and demands—helping us refine our strategies and product offerings.

Our participation also generated a significant number of genuine business leads. Many brands have shown keen interest in incorporating millets into their product lines or creating new millet-based offerings. As global demand for nutritious and sustainable food grows, millets are gaining recognition for their health benefits — and we are proud to contribute to this movement.

In a notable achievement, two of our tribal women farmers were invited to present their millet-based products at the G20 First Spouses Event held at IARI, PUSA, New Delhi on 9 September 2023, alongside the G20 Leaders’ Summit. This prestigious opportunity, granted to only a select few Farmer Producer Companies (FPCs), recognized SFPCL’s dedication to empowering women and promoting millet-based value addition. The invitation by the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmer Welfare stands as a testament to our ongoing efforts and the growing recognition of our farmers’ hard work at the highest levels.

Through these efforts, Satpudanchal is not only promoting the consumption of millets but also supporting the livelihoods of small and marginalized farmers by creating value-added products that cater to modern consumer needs, both domestically and internationally. The world is beginning to recognize the potential of millets — and we are proud to continue leading the charge in this millet revolution.

Our Strategies So Far

We begin our work by engaging with the local communities for at least one year to understand their needs through PRA and RRA exercises. Based on these assessments, our team develops a two-year action plan, which is validated through vision-building workshops with local residents. Priority is given to identifying and empowering local volunteers and youth to take leadership roles in implementing the plans.

Our approach ensures that every project area gains adequate access to information, services, and resources. Where such access is limited, we work collaboratively with communities to find and implement sustainable solutions, ensuring long-term impact and ownership.
